Programs

  • Acworth Ghost Tours. This is a walking tour of haunted places in historical Acworth, Georgia. These are evening walking tours, weather permitting. Be prepared to have your mind blown with the stories and events, with plenty of local history revealed by a master storyteller, performer, and award winning author and historian. You should wear comfortable shoes and be able to walk a little over one mile, and bring a flashlight (you may also bring a camera and any ghosthunting equipment you happen to own). Tickets must be purchased in advance from this website. Tours are scheduled at 7:30 pm every Friday and Saturday in the month of October. The remainder of the year the tour may be experienced by prearranged scheduling.   • The Ghost of Edgar Allan Poe. This one-man audience involvement show includes material based on the life and works of Edgar Allan Poe, and is filled with the emotions that are found in Poe's stories, all in a fast paced format. History and mystery, thrills and chills, humor, wonder, suspense, fright, ESP and mindreading, magic, music, storytelling, and poetry. Custom tailored to fit your needs, from 15 minutes to two hours.

  • The Great (local) Ghost Show. This one-man custom designed audience involvement show involves local legends, as well as lore invoking famous people and events throughout history, touching on thrills, fears and emotions.The Great Acworth Ghost Show is about Historic Acworth and the local legends and ghosts. The Great Atlanta Ghost Show features the most famous haunts of Metro Atlanta.
  • Acworth Haunted Pub Crawl. For ten to thirty five people, a visit to three Acworth pubs where we will spend about 45 minutes at each location, experiencing their food and drinks along with local ghost stories, appropriately spooky magic, and live music.
  • The ESP and Mentalism Show. A fun audience involment stand-up show exploring the powers of the mind.
  • The History of African American Magicians. An enlightening Power Point Presentation based on Jim Magus' award winning book Magical Heroes, the presentation has been featured at libraries including the Martin Luther King Jr. Library of African American Studies in Atlanta, to history groups including the Magic Collectors Association in Chicago, and magicians including the Society of American Magicians' National Convention in Philadelphia.
  • Carnival of Horrors. A full blown stage extravaganza featuring sensational illusions and music and a cast of four skilled performers. See the Laboratory Skit
  • Monster Carnival. A fun family show of magic with a theme of monsters, designed for the young and young-at-heart.
  • Family Magic Show. An old fashioned magic show featuring comedy, mystery, and audience participation, for all ages. Have you ever seen a magician pull a rabbit out of his hat?
  • Consulting and Lectures. Jim offers his expertiese on numerous aspects of magic, including seance and bizarre and various aspects of magic history. He has performed and lectured at the first two Invocational conventions, the first two Weerd Weekend conventions, and the first two East Coast Spirit Sessions conventions, amongst many others.
